About Me
Welcome to my website! I am a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Villanova University. I completed my Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of Delaware in 2021 under the direction of Felix Lazebnik, after earning an M.S. degrees in Mathematics from Montclair State University under the advisement of Jonathan Cutler in May 2013

My research is in extremal and structural combinatorics, particularly graph theory. I think about ErdÅ‘s–Ko–Rado-type questions for intersecting families of subgraphs and independent sets in graphs, and about which graphs with a fixed number of vertices and edges maximize the number of proper vertex colorings. Some of this work is collaborative with Villanova undergraduate and master’s students through programs like Co-MaStER, VURF, and the SRF.
To learn more about my research and what future problems I am going to work on, please see my Research Statement.
